Captain Mike has been working professionally on the bay since 1978.
He has professionally clamed, scalloped and oystered. In 1995 he sat for and passed
the U.S. Coast Guard licensing exam. He is now able to Captain 100' boats and 6
passengers. When Captain Mike's Charters first started taking customers the boat
used was a 17' center console Boston Whaler. In 1998 Captain Mike acquired a 24'
Grady White cuddy cabin. This upgrade enabled more passengers to fish in more
comfort than on the previous boat.
